Natural Magenta

Raindrops rest on the leaves of an Oregon Grape (mahonia aquifolium.)

Something that caught my eye while Liddy and I were on our walk yesterday. This was at the lagoon park off of River Road in Fife, WA. It could have been pretty much anywhere in the Northwest. We have been having daily downpours which are normal for late January.

We had a moment of clear sky and The Mountain (Mt Rainier) was out (not obscured by clouds).

Thought I should explain some of the regional speak ?
