Green Grass

Springtime grass - Early tassle on a tuft of grass

Green Grass

What do they call the tassel atop a stalk of grass?

Mid-morning while on my morning walk with Liddy.

The sun was above, right, causing the tassel to stand out with a nice rim light.

At an aperture of f/5.6, and the 18-135 lens racked out to 88 mm, the background just becomes a lovely green wash.

In Lightroom my goal was to emphasize the tassel and the rim light while reducing the impact of the supporting blades of grass.
