A collection of images and a little bit about my Canine Companion
This gallery is dedicated to my four-footed Canine Companion, Liddy II BN RI CGCU TKN, or as she knows herself to be “Liddy”.
She is an Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) / Australian Shephard mix. The American Kennel Club classifies her as an All American Dog.
About 6 years ago, I hired Liddy to walk me. As she is very smart and trainable, I taught her to let me know when the kitchen bells and whistles blow. (Even with my hearing aids, I can’t hear some of them.) We are constantly finding things for her to do that make my life, and June’s, easier. The American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA) does define Service Animals. The ADA does not define how a Service Animal is licensed. In fact, it specifically states that there is no certification required. It’s strictly on the honor system.
