100 Years of Learning
The elementary school in Wilkerson, WA declares itself to have been in business for 100 years. Built from the sandstone that was mined locally, it is an impressive building.

Backflip
A group of fearless youngsters watch as their friend does a backflip off of the old pier on Coconut Island in Hilo Bay. To make this image, I put the camera into multiple shot mode and held the shutter from when the boy jumped until he was in the water. The collection was then stacked in Photoshop as layers. I then painted a mask on each layer to reveal only the boy as he spun down into the water. Visualize your shot, think how you will execute it, then release the shutter.
Mouse on a Palm
Stepping out onto our Lanai, I spotted this little fellow chowing down on the fruit that the geckos were enjoying the day before. Popular spot.
